Learn Boxing & Kickboxing In Combat Striking 101
Hey Westmoreland County, the Boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing action is happening at PACS in Greensburg!
Our Combat Striking 101 program is teaching the fundamental techniques of effective Boxing and Kickboxing, to men and woman who all share the same training goals. To get in shape while developing the skills needed to be an effective stand-up fighters. This beginners focused class is meant for those with little to no prior experience in Boxing or Muay Thai.
Learning how to throw down doesn't mean you have to compete in a ring or cage either. The end goal is to build the average person into a confident individual who can go about their daily life without fear or anxiety.
In Combat Striking 101 you will learn both the offense, and defense, of throwing punches, kicks, knees and elbows. Along with essential foot work and head movement, each student is developing the skills needed to enter into controlled sparring if they so choose (sparring is always optional here).
At PACS we value the need for sparring. To that end we utilize a ranking system based solely on active sparring.
No abstract testing on forms or katas (which may not even work in a real fight). Instead students are ranked by their willingness to engage in controlled light sparring. This aspect of gym training is always done with safety in mind, and is separate from our beginners Combat Striking 101 classes.
Getting involved with the Combat Striking 101 Program is a simple process.
First thing you need to do is contact PACS so we can set up a training consultation (those are always free and last about 15-20 minutes on average).
To get scheduled, you can call (724) 420-5199 or use the contact form on the top right!
Anyone under 18 must have a parent schedule this for them, and a parent must attend as well.
We are currently not accepting walk-ins so please call or make contact online.
